See our entry in the programme on page 2. We will be continuing our excavation of Kildale’s 13th Century Chapel of St Hilda on Wednesdays and Sundays, 10:30 am – 4 pm. Anyone who wants to experience digging on an archaeological site can join us for a day free of charge from Wednesday 3rd May. Training is given on-site, equipment provided, no previous experience necessary. Booking is essential. Email hvcpchairperson@gmail.com.
If you would like to continue for more days we ask for a membership fee of £10 per annum which helps cover site insurance.
